Congratulations on choosing West Chester University! Starting college is an exciting new chapter, and I hope your first year here is filled with new experiences, friendships, and opportunities that make this campus feel like home where you are spending the next few years of your life!

Not too long ago, I was exactly where you all are—beginning my college journey and considering whether to go through recruitment. Becoming part of the Panhellenic community has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. It has helped me grow, build friendships that will last long after my time here, and find a place where I truly belong. I can’t imagine my time at West Chester without the support and memories I’ve gained through this experience. We can’t wait for you all to have that same experience and welcome you with open arms as you find your forever home!

Recruitment may feel nerve-wracking, but it is so worth it as you find the place you belong and the people who feel like you’ve known them your whole life. For me, Alpha Phi is that home away from home, where I—and every sister—feel supported and empowered to be the best version of ourselves. My freshman year, and my whole college experience, changed forever when I ran home to the women of Alpha Phi and became part of something so much bigger than myself.

I hope you all get to find that same feeling and opportunity that Alpha Phi gave me when it’s your time to make the decision that can truly change your life. We are all so excited to be a part of your journey!
